In Omnia ParatusPrepared for Anything

About the firm

Readiness isn't a service we sell. It's the standard we've lived.

In Omnia Paratus was founded on a simple conviction: organizations deserve safety and emergency management guidance from people who have carried the responsibility themselves.

Founder story

From the Army to one of the nation's busiest air hubs

Michael Bunner's approach to safety was forged in the U.S. Army, where preparation was never a paperwork exercise. It was the difference between mission success and failure. Planning under uncertainty, leading teams through high-pressure situations, and rehearsing for the worst case became second nature.

He carried that discipline into civilian life and built a career spanning emergency management, environmental health and safety, and operational leadership. He earned the Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) designation, completed a Master of Science in Leadership with an emphasis in Disaster Preparedness and Executive Fire Leadership, and co-authored Ohio's Local Emergency Management Standards with the Emergency Management Association of Ohio, helping define how emergency programs across the state are built and measured.

From there his work took him inside some of the most demanding operations in the country: corporate safety leadership for Fortune 500 manufacturers in aerospace and defense, multi-site EHS direction across high-hazard production environments, and senior workplace health and safety management for one of the nation's largest air cargo hubs, operated by a Fortune 50 company, where thousands of associates, aircraft movements, and powered equipment converge every single day.

Michael founded In Omnia Paratus in 2017 to bring that level of operational, battle-tested expertise to organizations that can't afford to learn readiness the hard way. Nearly a decade in, the firm's name, Latin for "ready for all things," isn't a slogan. It's the standard every client engagement is measured against.

Our mission

To make every organization we serve genuinely prepared — with safety programs that prevent harm, emergency plans that perform under pressure, and leaders equipped to protect their people, their operations, and their reputation.

Core values

The principles behind every engagement

People first, always

Every plan, audit, and exercise exists for one reason: so people go home safe. Production, compliance, and reputation follow from that priority — never the other way around.

Earned credibility

We only advise on what we have done. Our recommendations come from leading safety in live, high-tempo operations — which means they hold up on your floor, not just in your binder.

Readiness is proven, not assumed

A plan that has never been exercised is a hypothesis. We validate everything we build through drills, tabletops, and audits until readiness is demonstrated.

Candor over comfort

You hire a consultant for the truth. We tell you exactly where your programs stand, what the gaps cost, and what it takes to close them — clearly and without alarmism.

Discipline in execution

Military planning taught us that details decide outcomes. Clear ownership, realistic timelines, and follow-through are built into every engagement.

Leave it stronger

Our goal is to make ourselves unnecessary. Every engagement builds your team's internal capability so readiness lives in your organization, not in our invoices.
